Are you living your life backwards?

Often people try to live their lives backwards: they try to have more things, or more money, in order to do more of what they want so they will be happier. The way it actually works is the reverse. You must first be who you really are, then, do what you need to do, in order to have what you really want.                   — Margaret Young

Wishing you grace, peace and simple abundance…with the hope that you choose to not live your life backwards.

If it’s both terrifying and amazing…

What is it that keeps surfacing in your mind no matter how many times you push it away because it‘s “unrealistic,” it‘s “impossible,” it‘s a “fantasy,” but it would still become a dream come true if  you pursued it and it became a reality? What would happen if you named it, embraced it, and pursued it with your entire being? What will happen if you don’t?

Wishing you grace, peace and simple abundance…and the joyful pursuit of the it which is both terrifying and amazing to you.

All is a miracle.

People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don’t even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child — our own two eyes. All is a miracle. — Thich Nhat Hanh from The Miracle of Mindfulness.

Wishing you grace, peace and simple abundance…and the realization that all is a miracle.
