Drawing Lines on the Map of Your Life

Does your life look like this?

Or this?

Every time you make a choice, you draw another line on the map of your life. You are creating your experience. Our greatest motivation in life should be to use our power of choice for Good. If we use the power of choice willfully from the material point of view, we create bondage rather than freedom for ourselves. We let ourselves be influenced by other’s opinions and failures of the past.

Wishing you grace, peace and simple abundance…and wise use of the power of choice…choosing the good that leads to freedom.

Passion is power.

Passion is power. Passion is the smelling salts of the soul. Passion’s message is the same one love brings: follow.

Passion is what we are most deeply curious about, most hungry for, will most hate to lose in life…It is whatever we pursue for its own sake, what we study when there are no tests to take, what we create though no one may ever see it. It makes us forget that the sun rose and set, that we have bodily functions and personal relations that could use a little tending. It is what we’d do if we weren’t worried about the consequences, about money, about making anybody happy but ourselves. It is whatever we could be tempted to sell our souls for in order to have an extra hundred years just to devote to it, whatever fills us with the feeling poet Anne Sexton was referring to when she said that, “when I’m writing, I know I’m doing the thing I was born to do.” It is what matters most, whether we are doing it or not.  — Gregg Levoy

Wishing you grace, peace and simple abundance…and the courage to pursue your passion.

Live True to Yourself.

The number one regret voiced by those on their deathbed is…

I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.

Wishing you grace, peace and simple abundance…and that you live true to yourself and go do all those things you’ve always wanted to do.
